Ultrasound Diagnostics (Sonography)
Ultrasound diagnostics (Sonography) is the most frequently used medical imaging process in the medical field. Since its first application more than fifty years ago in womens’ medicine it has become an indispensible diagnostic tool also in other specialized areas.
Aside from the normally used two-dimensional sectional view procedure (B-scan) there is also the Doppler Method, which can determine the velocities of flow into the blood vessels (arteries and veins).
In our practice we use these procedures in particular in the diagnosis of diseases of the tendons, joints, (also infantile hips), varicose vein problems and blood circulation disturbances.
