In-Patient OP since 1 April 2010
Aside from the out-patient operations in our own modern OP room, we are now able to perform larger orthopedic interventions in our in-patient practice at the Landstuhl Hospital.
Dr Fischer primarily performs the following operations
Arthroscopic Operations (joint arthroscopy) on the knee, shoulder and ankle:
Foot:
Correction of Hallux valgus (bunion), Hallux rigidus (stiff big toe joint), Metatarsalgien (stress related toe and metatarsal bone pain), small toe deformation, instabilities, kink – flatfeet, arthritis, Achilles tendon problems, heel spur.
Knee:
meniscus injuries (including meniscus repair), front cruciate rupture, cartilage damage (including cartilage replacement), knee cap disorders and injuries.
Shoulder:
Rigid shoulder, calcification of the shoulder, rotator cuff damage, arthritis, bottleneck syndrome (impingement)
